Farm box take 2

this week, I got:
A butternut squash
A couple zucchini
limes
peaches
pears
corn
swiss chard
a bag of peppers
a bag of lima beans


I'm so excited about this week! I'm going to make a modified version of Mexican street corn, and I think I'm going to do something combining the limes, pears, and peaches (jam? bread?), and maybe something involving the peaches and the peppers. What do you do with swiss chard? What about butternut squash?

You can bake butternut squash. Cut it in half lengthwise and put it in a baking dish, cut side up, and put a Tbsp or two of butter in each half them sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Divine!! :)

I also made butternut squash fries once. They were alright, but they came out mushy (i think i overcooked them so that's probably why.. I don't know. I want to try it again!) The taste was fine though! Hungry-girl.com has a recipe :)

No ideas on the swiss chard. It's a veggie I haven't tried yet(but want to!)
